More About my Leashes

What's up with that ball on the end of the leash? Is it a chew toy for me?

Sometimes when I'm off leash and that ball is swinging I'd like to give it a chew, but it's not for chewing. It's a unique handle design for my hoomans called a monkey fist. It has some benefits for them and some downsides. The handle rests extremely comfortably in hand with a slightly slack leash, and if I suddenly take off after a squirrel my hoomans fingers don't get snapped and hyper-extended. On the downside the leash does not shorten very well, when holding slack, and it makes the hand work harder under heavy pulling.
